Maritime Charters Captain Marc is a fully licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard and the state of Wisconsin, and is fully insured for commercial operation. He has over 25 years of fishing experience on Lake Michigan, winning recognition from the Great Lakes Sport fishermen of Milwaukee as 1994 "Fisher Person of the Year". Captain Marc is certified by Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources as an Angler Education instructor with a B.S. in Biological Aspects of Conservation.

Capt. Tony and first mate Ben, have been working with Capt Marc for over 20 yr's as well and will help get the rods set, and get everything ready for you to real in your BIG FISH!!

Off-Shore

A well kept secret about the Lake Michigan fishery, is the tremendous off-shore steelhead action unique to our area. Milwaukee's proximity to deep water and it's mid lake mountain range creates swift currents and insect holding slicks. Located 15-20 miles off-shore are some of the most pristine waters on the Great Lakes. These waters are perfect habitat for sky-rocketing steelhead. The offshore action is unbelievable this time of year.... this stud Steelhead was 17.5 lbs! Depending on the time of year it's not uncommon to have 20-25 fish on the line. Steelhead are a challenge as these beauties sky out of the water -that's why they are considered a true sport fish!

The Boat

The Wavery II, our 36-foot CustomTiara is fully equipped with the latest Raytheon state of the art electronics. This fully integrated system includes GPS chartplotter, HD Digital fishfinder, radar, autopilot, and more! The Waverly II has Twin Turbo Cummins diesel motors! SHE IS FAST!!

Outfitted with Outriggers, Cannon electric downriggers, Shimano rods and Shimano Tekota reels and of course some of the hottest fishing tackle available on the market.
