Jackson's Lakeside Cottages
Jackson's offers approximately 100 wooded acres for you to enjoy. Many guests enjoy walking among the tall pines away from the cottage area. Animal lovers can see a variety of birds and other wildlife within only a minute's walk of their cottage.
A favorite place for fun is our large playground area where guests play horseshoes, volleyball, or softball We also have a swing and sandbox for our younger guests.
Little St. Germain ranks as one of the top recreational lakes in northern Wisconsin. Beneath the surface of it's 956 acres roam excellent panfish, walleye, bass, northern pike, and trophy muskie. Fishing is just a small part of the lakes allure. Every summer, loons, eagles, ducks, and osprey take up residence and provide an exceptional atmosphere.
The most popular feature at Jackson's is our waterfront. The swimming area is a clear water, sand bottom that slopes gently, making it safe for children. A lawn area adjacent to the lake provides a terrific place to just relax.
Ample docking space is available for boats of all sizes. Our docks are also popular with our younger guests, as many panfish are caught off the piers.
Our cottages provide a variety of accommodation choices. We offer two, three, four, and five bedroom units that differ in style and features. Modern style prevails in some of our two bedroom units, while our larger three bedroom units offer the rustic charm of log construction. Most cottages have a screened-in porch and all overlook Little St. Germain's West Bay.
Many guests bring their own bed linens, but we can provide them for an additional charge. You must bring your own towels.

Grand View
5 Bedrooms - 2 Baths
It has two bathrooms and all the things a perfect vacation home should have. It offers both a deck and screened porch, satellite television with vcr/dvd player, dishwasher, and exceptional atmosphere for either a family vacation or a group of fishermen who want to "rough it with style".
Each bedroom has 1 full size or "double" bed. There is a large couch upstairs and a couch in the lower level. We also have 2 rollaway beds available if needed.
Hammond Cottage
4 Bedrooms - 1.5 Baths
It has barrier-free access on the main level with wider doorways, ramped entrances and a wheelchair-friendly bathroom on the ground floor level. The Hammond has a nice main living space with satellite TV and a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher and large table for many guests. Each bedroom has 1 full size or "double" bed. There is a fold out couch/bed in the lower level. We also have 2 rollaway beds available if needed. The bedrooms are split, with 2 downstairs and two upstairs. There is a half bath on the second level.
Homestead House
3 bedrooms - 2 Full Baths - Porch - Deck - Private Pier
Originally 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, it was expanded in the fall of 1972 to add a master bedroom, larger dining area, 2nd bath, and extra living space. There are many items in the house celebrating the history of the resort and the Jackson Family.
3 bedrooms - 1 Bath
This extremely popular three bedroom unit sits on the point at the end of the resort. It offers a splendid view of West Bay and many of the lake's best fishing spots. The Birches offers two bedrooms with full sized beds and one bedroom with two twin beds.
Idle Hour Cottage
3 bedrooms - 1 Bath
This three bedroom cottage was built with logs cut from the resort property. It features a good sized porch and superb location that is within sight of the swimming area. Each bedroom has a full sized bed and enough vacation space for a family to spend time together.
Jackson Cottage
3 bedrooms - 1 Bath
This three bedroom unit was the original home of Grandpa and Grandma Jackson. It features a large kitchen/dining area and a nice screened porch that overlooks the lake. Each bedroom has a full sized bed. It features a recently remodeled bathroom and living room. It also offers satellite television.
Whitetail Cottage
2 bedrooms - 1 Bath
This cozy two bedroom unit was built back in the early 90's. It is very popular with our regular customers and overlooks West Bay and is within sight of the famous Bo-Boen Snowmobile Trail System. It has a nice sized porch for all your vacation equipment whether its fishing tackle or snowmobile gear. It also offers satellite television.
2 bedrooms - 1 Bath
This popular two bedroom cottage is one of the final cottages built during the Art Jackson era. It offers a fieldstone fireplace and a patio facing the lake. It offers a remodeled kitchen and has a nice cozy interior. Many guests have a standing request for this cabin and is a nice rustic feel to it.
Memories Cottage
2 bedrooms - 1 Bath
This two bedroom cottage is a simple yet comfortable place for fishermen or families to have a pleasant place to call home while up here in God's country. Each bedroom has a full sized bed.
Jack Cottage
3 bedrooms - 1 Bath
This new unit offers 3 bedrooms, 1 ADA bath with roll-in shower, air conditioning, and a cozy interior that keeps everyone happy during any part of the year. There is a loft bedroom and patio facing the lake with a nice porch for enjoying the view and spending time with friends and family.

Lodge
Jackson's Lodge is a popular summertime place for all ages. Constructed from norway pine logs in the spring of 1935, the Lodge is one of the few remaining large log structures from that era. Our fireplace attracts guests in the evening, while kids play a variety of games. We also operate a small bar where adults can meet fellow guests and swap tales over a friendly drink.
Waterfront
The most popular feature at Jackson�s is our waterfront. The clear water of West Bay is a great place for a swim as we do not get summer algae blooms like many lakes get. The lake bottom is sandy and slopes gently making it ideal for children. A lawn area adjacent to the lake provides a terrific place to just relax.
