High Banks Resort
High Banks is centrally located on the Northeast side of Lake Winnibigoshish where we offer our guests great fishing and an excellent place to relax in the secluded Chippewa National Forest with family & friends. We are open year round, and offer something for everyone each season.
Cabins

Log cabin with stone fireplace. 2 doubles/2 twins in four season room and 2 double/2 twins in main room. - CABIN # 2:
One double bed in bedroom with two double beds & 1 single in main room. - CABIN # 3:
One double bed in bedroom with two double beds & 1 double futon in main room. - CABIN # 4:
One double bed in bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 single bed & 1 double futon in main room. - CABIN # 5:
3 bedrooms with 1 double bed in 2 bedrooms, double/single in 3rd bedroom and a double futon in the living room. - CABIN # 7:
4 bedrooms with 1 double bed each in 2 of the bedrooms and a set of single bunkbeds each in the other 2 bedrooms.

Log cabin with gas fireplace. Contains two double beds and two single beds. - CABIN # 9:
One double and 1 single bed in bedroom with double hide-a-bed & double futon in the living room. - CABIN # 10:
One double and 1 single bed in bedroom and a double hide-a-bed & double futon in the living room. - CABIN # 11:

3 Night Minimum on Cabin Rental
All cabins are full housekeeping cabins with showers. bed linens & cooking utensils provided.
Please bring your own kitchen towels, bath towels, bath soap and dish soap.
A deposit of one night's rental is required within 7 days from when you make your reservation to hold the cabin.

Camping
High Banks Resort is now offering a total of 15 campsites, including seasonals and overnight tent and RV sites. With full hook-ups including water, sewer and electric - all you have to do is pull in and enjoy a relaxing getaway in the beautiful Chippewa National Forest on Lake Winnibigoshish. All of our spacious sites are wooded and offer you a little piece of the northwoods at its' finest. Bathroom and shower facilities are also available.Fall Activities
Planning your next hunting trip. Bring your dog(s) see what the area has to offer . Lake Winnie is right on their flight plan to the south.Yet another great day hunting with family and friends. High Banks makes a great place to plan your late season walleye fishing and hunting trip.
Winter Activities
Our ice fishing season is January-March for JUMBO perch fishing. We keep all 11 of our cabins open and are completely equipped, comfy and warm. We have 5 angling houses and 3 sleeper fish houses that accommodate groups of all sizes. Our fish cleaning house is fully winterized and we have lake access with plowed roads.Bring the sleds there are a lot of trails to cover in and around the area.
Bring your snowshoes there are always trail to explore here at High Banks.
