Belonging to Tommy's organization gives me constant input of information about what lakes, baits and fish are most active, as well as enabling us to handle groups that require multiple boats and guides.
The Minocqua area has 100's of lakes that are home to largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike and the King of freshwater; the Musky, both true and hybrid. I fish all of these spiecies with many days producing a mixed bag.
You will fish some of the most beautiful and pristine lakes in the world, surrounded by natural highland forests. Take a few minutes from fishing to relax and enjoy a passing loon, an eagle soaring overhead or the occasional deer, otter or other wildlife that we share the area with.
Fish In Comfort...We will be fishing out of my Ranger 620 powered by a 225 hp Yamaha, 4 stroke with an 8 hp Yamaha kicker and a Minnkota electric bowmount. Electronics include Lowrance 102C, color depthfinders, bow and stern, providing depth, fish ID and water temperature and a Lowrance, Global 3000 GPS with lake maps. There are built-in live wells for bait and your catch, plus a cooler for your refreshments. The boat is equipped with pedistal seats and has plenty of room to move around.
Shore Lunch...Special trips can be planned with a traditional shore lunch at the end of the day. These trips are planned on the Minocqua Chain and includes 5 hours on the water fishing, then shore lunch at my homebase on the shore of Lake Minocqua. You will enjoy a "hardy" lunch of fish, fried potatoes and beans in a Northwoods setting, complete with bathroom facilities and swimming for the kids.
