Multi-Species Year Round Guide Service Guide services are available for I or 2 persons, along with families and/or groups, on a half day or full day or prime time basis. In addition to being a licensed guide, I toured both the PWT and RCL circuits as a professional angler and have published several fishing articles as an outdoor writer.

Guide services are provided in Vilas County, Wisconsin on all Phelps area lakes. The choice of which lake you are guided on can be either yours or mine if you prefer.

Rates

$250, plus bait, for a half day for 1-2 people
$350, plus bait for a full day for 1-2 people.

About your Guide

Colin fished the RCL Circuit, including the Championship, and the In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Circuit. Additionally, he toured in the USFA Team Walleye Circuit, including the National Championship and the Masters' Walleye Circuit, as well as the Mercury National. He was a top finisher in the Illinois Governors' Cup. Colin has won several other big fish awards in tournaments and placed in the top ten as well. Colin is also a Wisconsin Musky Tournament Championship qualifier. Colin appeared on the In-Fisherman television series, conducted radio interviews and contributes to several newspaper articles and writes numerous newspaper, magazine and on-line articles. Colin is featured in the Fishing Hot Spots-Walleye Book. He is recognized for both his river and lake capabilities. But his expertise doesn't stop there; he is also involved in his community and the communities in which he toured with kids' fishing clinics and taking senior citizens fishing. Colin is also a guide participating in guide trips for Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation "WWIA". Colin is a Safety and Angler Education Instructor certified by the Wisconsin DNR.

Colin is available for seminars and hands on demonstrations and guide trips for individuals, families and/or groups. He provides fish cleaning at the end of your trip should you desire to keep your catch. Colin promotes selective harvest.

Colin is a Wisconsin licensed fishing guide and offers year round multi-species guide service in northeastern Vilas County. He also has year round guiding and lodging packages available and seasonal permanent and portable ice shack rentals. He accepts cash, checks and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card). Colin is also a member of the Eagle River & Vilas County Chambers of Commerce.

Phelps Outdoors - Colin Crawford's Guide Service Lodging

Our lodging is conveniently located between Lac Vieux Desert Casino and Eagle River. We are about 10-15 minutes from either location. There are trap and golf courses out the door, as well as, bike, ATV and snowmobile trails. The Lodge has an indoor swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. The lobby has a historic stone fireplace for your relaxing enjoyment. Free Wi-Fi, coffee and continental breakfast served. There is a restaurant and cocktail lounge within the corridors of the Lodge. Waterfalls, seasonal water ski show, outdoor ice skating rink and ski/snowboard facilities in close proximity. Want to rent "toys" for your enjoyment, rental facilities nearby for your convenience. If bringing your own toys, there is plenty of trailer parking available. We offer a fully equipped kitchenette suite with either two twin beds or a king size bed. There is also a queen sleeper couch, a rocking recliner and rocking chair to relax in during your stay. Seasonally air conditioned. There are two flat-screen TVs with cable, one includes a DVD player.
