With only 19 total cabins on 5,700 acres we are only the outfitter on the Cliff Lake system featuring musky, northern, walleye, lake trout, smallmouth bass, whitefish and perch. Our guests experience a remote, wilderness setting just minutes off the paved highway where LESS PEOPLE = MORE FISH!Our Northwest Ontario drive-to camps offer 4 different levels of housekeeping accommodations: from the rustic Outpost log cabins to the moderate Musky Bay Camp all the way up to our ultra-modern Lost Bay cabins, and finally our diamond in the rough executive timber frame home. THE LAKE A true rarity, and one of few destinations where sportsmen can find seven different species of fish to target, Cliff is a complex oligotrophic lake - deep, clear and possesses hard substrates, with many segmented areas and numerous shallow bays, islands and channels. Due to the shape and structure of the lake there is always great fishing regardless of wind conditions and once away from camp you will likely spend hours on the water without seeing another boat. Fishing Cliff is the closest you can get to a true wilderness fly-in experience at a drive-to camp.
ACCOMODATIONS Lost Bay Resort
Premier drive-to housekeeping cabins
Easy access, modern facilities, and its ideal location define this camp. Located just one-third mile off the highway; all cabins face the lake and are just a short walk from the dock. Positioned in a quiet bay that provides safe and easy tie-up for our boat, with full electric hook-ups and an easy to launch that is solely available to Cliff Lake Resort guests. Lost Bay is hard to beat on comfort, quality, and price in Northwestern Ontario.
Classic Canadian
One, two, or four bedroom single bath modern cabins are furnished with a variety of double, single, and bunk beds to accommodate up to ten people. Each cabin has a shower, fridge, stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, and charcoal grill. Bed linens, dishes and cooking utensils are provided.
Our cabins are second to none in the area; providing clean, quality cabins with the comforts of home.
EXECUTIVE TIMBER FRAME HOME
Wilderness Luxury
Unsurpassed in the area this stylish lodging has all the amenities of a modern home, plus an alluring knotty pine interior with handsome timber frame post and beam constructions.
Nestled in a very private area of the camp, the timber frame is situated right on the water and surrounded by Canadian pines and firs. The view is unrivaled whether enjoying it while lounging on the wraparound deck, inside the large sliding glass doors, or from the perch on the second floor overlooking the bay.
There are six separate beds, five queens and one singe providing sleeping capacity from six to eleven if there are couples or children in the group. Equipped with two full baths, a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, cooking utensils, and bed linens, the Executive Timber Frame rental will take your vacation to a whole different level!
Musky Bay Camp
True Canadian Fishing Camp
Newly opened in 2014, with mere feet between you and the waters of Cliff Lake, you will have everything you need for an enjoyable and affordable Canadian outing. Musky Bay is located on a private, small bay on the very Southeastern corner of Cliff Lake; with only five cabins this camp provides guests with a secluded, wilderness feel.
Due to newly opened status, Musky Bay does not have fuel or bait located on site, guests must travel the 10 minute boat ride up to Lost Bay Resort for all their dock requirements and staff interaction. Because staff is only present to collect garbage and clean the fish cleaning facility on alternating days for a few short hours this camp is ideal for the guest with privacy in mind.
Musky Bay is outfitted to handle short-stays, weekly, monthly or seasonal rentals, including group rates for an entire camp rental. Pet friendly fee applies.
Cliff Lake Outpost
Reconnect to a simpler life, self-sufficiency and togetherness. Nostalgic wilderness log cabin setting located on the Northwestern end of Cliff Lake is accessible by vehicle down a private gravel access road or by boat from Lost Bay Resort.
The camp is equipped with central showers, toilets, and a state-of-the-art, fully remote, quiet, power generator. Cliff Lake Outpost is an ideal setting for large groups up to 25 people.
There are four main one-room cabins that are equipped with stove, refrigerator, sink, dinnerware, cooking utensils, wood stoves for heat and an outside BBQ grill. There is one electrical outlet for charging cameras, cell phones, or other small re-chargeable items. There are also two sleeping cabins available to facilitate larger groups.
The main lodge, open to large groups only, is equipped with refrigerators, stove and oven, and a common dining area for visiting and sharing your day's catch.
Cliff Lake Outpost is located far from civilization in an area that sees few fisherman; a stay at the Outpost is as close as you can get to a wilderness fly-in at a fraction of the cost.
