Canadian Fly In Fishing

Species Targeted:

Why Us
The best fishing trip starts where the road ends. Our air base, located a 4.5 hour drive north of International Falls, Minnesota in Red Lake, Ontario, gives you the greatest chance to bring your fishing dreams to life. Our well equipped outpost cabins are located in the Woodland Caribou Provincial Park, protecting the fishery and keeping the surrounding wilderness pristine and untouched.Over the years Fly In Fishing on many more easily accessed lakes has deteriorated due to the lack of early conservation practices. The vast majority of lakes are small and had no early conservation program resulting in the fisheries being depleted to unsustainable levels. In addition, road access and logging roads made many fly-in only lakes accessible by car. Early conservation efforts require the details of size and quantity restrictions not just lip service to generic conservation efforts.

Beyond the fishing I will do everything I can to provide what I am promoting here in a wilderness fishing vacation. I can’t control atmospheric pressure which at times affect fishing. I haven’t yet learned to control temperature and wind, but all other aspects of your trip are under my control. From the flight scheduling to the condition of the outpost camps, boats, and motors. My staff and I will strive to ensure you have a memorable wilderness experience.
