Welcome to Advantage Fishing Guide Service! Wisconsin Fishing Guide Service for Castle Rock Lake Flowage and the Lake Petenwell Flowage in Adams County Wisconsin

Hello, I am Joe Jochman and if you want to catch fish you have come to the right place. I specialize in guiding for walleye on the Petenwell Flowage, Castle Rock Flowage, and the Wisconsin River but, no matter what you are looking to catch I can help you find what you are looking for. I am a multi-species guide and will guide on most bodies of water in central Wisconsin.

I have been fishing my whole life and know these Wisconsin lakes like the back of my hand. Castle Rock Lake and Lake Petenwell Flowage are tremendous fisheries with an abundance of fish and different species. Having fished in the FLW Walleye Tournament Trail, I can use my professional experience to put you on fish and help you catch the fish of a lifetime.

Whether you want to catch some tasty eaters (walleye, crappie, perch) or go after a trophy sized musky or northern pike I can adapt my methods to whatever species of fish you desire to catch. I also guide for largemouth bass and smallmouth bass - which many believe are the most fun to catch.

Give me a call today so I can customize a fishing trip to your needs. I fish out of a 2007 Ranger 620 with 225 HO etc. for a safe comfortable day on the water. My professional fishing experience plus my 10 years of experience guiding will put fish in the boat and will surely have your line tightening in no time!

I look forward to hearing from you, early summer dates fill fast.

Two of the best-kept secrets in Wisconsin are Petenwell and Castle Rock Lakes, the second and fourth largest inland lakes in the state, together covering over sixty square miles.

In Adams County, the shores of Castle Rock Lake are dotted with public launch sites, and visitors can enjoy water skiing, swimming, sailing, and boating on its beautiful blue waters. Spectacular sunsets await along the many miles of wooded shoreline where 25,000 acres remain in their natural state. For the angler there are walleye, northern pike, bass and perch lurking just beneath the surface.

Lake Petenwell is Wisconsin's second largest lake at 23,040 acres or approximately 36 square miles.

Lake Petenwell was created in 1948 by the Wisconsin River Power Company with the construction of a dam across the Wisconsin River near Necedah. Lake Petenwell has a maximum depth of 42 feet and is excellent for skiing, sailing or fishing. Private lakefront property is very limited as most of the virgin shoreline is undeveloped forest.
