Hey guys,

Heading up to LS the first week in June. Looking to try a few new areas from previous years for some big walleyes. Has anyone fished Tuk Bay or the Kakabeka Narrows? If so, where should we concentrate our efforts? Fishing technique that works best besides jig and minnow?

Thanks

Heading up to Lac Seul Outpost Lodge (NE end) and was looking for any information regarding this camp.  We will be going up mid June.  Some of the guys have asked about catching perch, and I see little information regarding anyone targeting them. Hoping for a good walleye bite during this time with some nice bass up in the shorelines.

Raining
Just got back from a week at Williams Lake Lodge. Had a blast. Was there for the 3rd week of June. The first four days it was pretty much constant rain with air temps in the 50's. Last 2 days it was partly sunny in the 60's. Water temp was 58 degrees. Walleye and Northern were hitting between 12 and 17 feet off of the secondary breaks. Caught large numbers with jigs tipped with minnows. The few Bass we caught were right up against the shore. Caught a 25 inch whitefish on Williams Lake that was a real fight and tasty as heck. Williams Lake Lodge is as close to the perfect fish camp as you can get and the owners Ken and KAthy Burton do a great job.

Going to Williams Lake Lodge for the 13th consecutive year starting 6/14/14. Looking forward to seeing Ken, Kathy, Brian and Steve. Sure hope the river is open by then. The north landing is a pain. Looks like it will be rainy all week and in the 50's. If anyone is there this week please post the depths walleye and pike are most consistently hitting at and I'll return the favor during the week.

Just got back from my first stay at Williams Lake Lodge and I had a blast!

The pike were hitting everything and we did pretty will with Walleye on Lac Seul. We struggled with Smallies though. The water temps were in the low to mid 50's with a few pockets hitting 60.

As for the creek at Williama lake, it is still very low and Ken said they will likely be using the north landing for at least another 2-3 weeks. It was a pain. Also, gas was 8.50 a gallon for the boats so thatr was a little pricey, but overall we had a great time.

I had no monsters but did get half a dozen pike over 36" and I did have the largest walleye of the trip at 26.75" so I was happy with that. Water should be warming up this week and the smallies should be hitting harder this week or next!

Good luck to all of you headed up there.

Water temp in the high 40's main lake and mid to upper 50's in protected bays. Check out Silver Water Wheel Lodge's weekly fishing report for a wealth of information. www.sww-lodge.com

Headed to Williams Lake 11 June. Hope the creek will be navigable by then. They are using the north landing again this week. Spent two weeks there last June and had a ball playing with the walleye and smallmouth. Requested a guide, preferably Brian, to learn a new area of the lake. Surface action on smallies was awesome last year. Probably 70 fish 17-21 inches. Dislike the creek time but access to a more remote area of Lac Seul compensates.

Thanks for the tip. When we booked the trip we went ahead and booked the guide for the first day so we can get a good start and an idea of where we can find the smallies and eyes.
