Fished 6am-2pm. Multispecies day. Walleye, Sauger, Goats, and Pike. Flicker Minnows and Shads put them in the boat, but we seemed to need to go a bit slower 1.4-1.7. Came across a 500 yard stretch we just couldn't seem to leave. Ran our 9th line (flatline) on a spinning rod for fun and had a flurry on a couple different cranks run just under the surface behind the kicker.

(5-30-20)On the lake at 7am till 11. fish bit between 7:30-9:30 then nothing. Went 9 for 13 1 Sheephead. 1 northern. 7 walleyes (13'',13'',15'',17.5'',17.75'',20'',21'') Was a great morning! Trolled anywhere between 2-2.3mph. flicker shads took them all. kept the two legals for dinner. Got a garmin echomap 93sv plus on sale and wanted to test it out. Right out of the box its better then my Humminbird. side imaging is better IMO and you can actually see the screen in the sun.
71° - 75° F
61° - 65° F
5-30 - great day - there was a 2 hour period our boat was on fire. Flickers - 25’ - 2.8. Good to be out. Tight lines.
Hows the channel cat/flathead situation on Kosh? Looking for a close place to hammer some eating size channels and also have a line out for some big ones. Rivers fine for bigger ones but have had better luck on river chain lakes for eaters.
Was it the hot blonde? Even though she called me ignorant once for not seeing the no wake sign that uniform and big gun strapped to her hip was turning me on
Was out for a while yesterday am. You could have rolled a marble across the water it was so calm. Not a bite. I seen two little Mallards swimming with mom and a big splash. Now there is only one little ducky. Dang water wolfs. The other day I was watching two sandhill cranes flying down the river and a eagle come in behind them. The eagle attacked from the low side and tried to get a leg. The crane put up a good fight and landed in the woods unhurt. Nature is brutal. The no wake went on this am on the lower river. Also Koshkonong Township has
a no parking law outside the parking lot at Groeller Road landing. The warden checked me again and wanted me to pass on the change to 3 walleyes X 18 inch rule. Ask me again to get a new ruler. He doesn`t like my Florida folding ruler. Haven`t been pinch yet. T-2-T
Can anyone tell me if the royce dahlman launch ok , as far as water level, thanks.
Finally got out on the mighty kosh today. Cold and windy this morning. I wasn't dressed properly to say the least. Luckily i had rain gear to cut the wind. Walleye didn't cooperate, only 2 shorts. The pike were active, got 3, couple in the low 30s. One catfish and one goat. All trolling water was 52ish. Here's a pick of one of the pike. Great to get out
They are always stacked in moderate current in the river. 1/2 crawled a #6 hook and a slip sinker. Do that and you will catch all the goats you desire.
Thanks! Also, do they push up river to spawn like white bass do? Or are they just all over in river/lake?
