Didn't catch a lot of fish but caught a couple nice ones. Took snowmobile out off off Wilderness park. Snow really went down fast today. Not many fish on locator. 26" and 19" came off tip ups. Smaller fish on slip boober. Shiners and fatheads.

Drove truck from wilderness to channel edge
Really tough weekend bite
Only caught 3 eight inch walleyes
Weather was absolutely beautiful so no complaints
Been a tough year for me all around the state ice fishing! Time to try some new waters!
Bassman on the bait shop if you go to Bay Rest I was told Kelly knows the price 250k way to high the shop has been closed less then two years no water heat or elect. just hope it was winterized right. I believe the building is about 50 years old. almost the same as Petenwell Pub when Jeffs folks had it open as a ice cream shop when I was a kid. Hope this helps, one last thing no one has made a business work in that location in the last 30 years.I do not know why.
41° - 45° F
Drove off Longview and fished the main channel. 4 wheel drive is needed with all the snow. First time out this year I was skunked. A few lookers and no takers.
Drove by petenwell county park, Adam's side, today. Tons of people just off park. Was there a fisheree going on?
Below 40° F
16° - 20° F
Fished all day/all night Friday into Saturday morning off of Longview. Marked some fish not a lot of takers, one nice white bass right away and a few 8-10” walleye. Is it just me or is there an abundance of dink walleyes running around this lake? Travel is rough with the snow, drove Tacoma’s off to the river channel. Plenty of ice there is even a 3/4 ton out running around. Anyone else having any luck?
Bassman on the bait shop matt had is up for sale sign on front of building, heard it was 250k but don't quote me on that .
first time going on this lake. what minnows do you guys use for walleye on tipups?
