also wondering that Iconic....also looking for some other sandy shore campsites. i dont want to bang my new boat up on the rocks!

Question for Jeff R or anyone who fishes the TFF daily,

In year 2020 it was hard to find a campsite. This summer, has the island campgrounds use returned to pre-plandemic levels where you have a good chance at finding a vacant campsite?

Cummins...zero fish in freezer..we eat fish almost every night and sometimes fish and eggs for breakfast..fresh, not frozen are the best

I hope u r having fish taco's soon. Or any other fish recipe for that matter to give u some room in your freezer.

Casting lipless crank baits towards shore shallow..21" walleye and Smallmouth released..We're having fish tacos tonight.   

Puddle Jumper, yes,the bog is still there..should be close to surface by now..I'll be going past it this morning and will take a look..It is on your left as you are heading towards big water just as you sneak through shallow narrow area between the 2 small islands before F11 campsite.

Does anyone remember a Musky Guide by the name of "Musky Mel"?  We fished with him back in the summer of 2009.   He mentioned there is a large bog area in TFF.   I think it's between Baraboo Lake and Mud Lake.   Does anyone know if it still exists or moved?   

Any information is appreciated!

@eyemiester-TFF lake level at about 1ft 9 inches below full pool. Some deep water stumps have emerged or close to surface that were not visible in May.

Just wondering on water level is it below or above normal pool.

Another great morning of fishing..trolling Salmo Hornets in 10 to 13 ft over wood..kept a16.5,"14.5 "and 14" Released 5 fish over 15" including a 17" and 18" Early morning is best. Started at 4:30am and had a limit by 5:10. Tried for perch in same areas after that..caught about 12 perch, only 2 being big enough for me to keep.

Walleyes are on the bite in 10 to 22ft over wood, trolling and also snap jigging plastics. Also some big perch mixed in..All fish were released this morning 

Fish from this morning..kind of a tough bite for me this morning..Caught a couple trolling Salmo Hornets in 11 to 13ft..caught a few casting Rapala Rip Stops and lippless cranks over top and around a bog that is rising up every summer..this particular bog is about 2 ft below surface as of this morning..biggest was 17" ..Released 2 others over 15"  Biggest fish came before 5am 

Fished the TFF for the last week.  Walleyes were catchable but overall slow. Fished shallow weeds, wood, deep wood, river channels and did not put anything together on a consistent basis. Pulling crank baits is not my  idea of fun fishing but based on some other reports I may need to get out the flicker Shad’s and troll.   Panfish, smallmouth and northern fishing very good over the last week. Shallow wood and weed mix provided consistent bite. Got on my first good crappie bite of the year on southeast side of big lake after the rain Friday morning. ..in shallow cabbage… not where I would expect them to be in mid July?
