Sorry, not a report. However, today marked the end of the 12 year dredging project in the lower river. There was just a story on the news with two of the researchers who gathered information over the course of 20 years to determine the best approach to remediation. They started in 1971 and at that time, 3 species of fish inhabited the river. Carp and two species of bullheads. There are now 40 species inhabiting the river. And it should only get better from here. Thought I'd bring a little positive news to the forums. Enjoy!

Hey all. How green and stinky is the river right now? Wife wants to go for a boat ride tomorrow. Trying to decide if it’s going to be a social cruise on the river or out on the bay pulling some lures. Thanks.

Fishing was OK.  Got a few catfish on Sunday.  Nothing large just nice fish in the 18 to 24" range.  Water color was off but fishable.  Cats were on a jig and a crawler shallow.

These fish were caught jigging a minnow accidentaly fishing deep holes for walleyes. But I guess if you target them exclusively use big live bait as a sucker. My best succes its from the dam all the way down to the 172 bridge but they are all over the river. Good luck!

The river has turned to chocolate milk and temperature dropped.
