I would rate this lake 'awesome' except for the long hike back up the hill! Caught my limit gills every time I went ice fishing. Never tried during summer. Would like to try it sometime, but need a kevlar canoe or something light.

Great lake for bass fishing in the summer, but the hike is a killer. only go to this lake if you like to hike things up hill.

my cousin and I love the lake. little shore fishing and a pain to carry a 14' boat up the hill. but well worth it. this is a workout lake, from the walk down to the fight of the best bass and northern fishing i have seen.
