Upper Nemahbin Lake

On at 11 off at 5.  Fresh meat in the boat.  Started on the north end of upper.  No fish unless you wanted to fish 10 to 15 feet down in 20-30 feet of water.  Main lake water temp 38 to 40.  We looked for warmer water with active fish.  Finally found 45 degree water on lower .  We  found them in 2 fow.  Fished 10" below the bobber with small jigs tipped with wavies, soft plastic .  Chartreuse, and pink mostly but shiny gold also did well including catching numerous branches.  Caught gills and crappies.  The crappies were in the wood.  Potato chips were appreciated by "fresh meat'.  LOL.   A FUN DAY.  Saw two 10" tiger muskies in 14" of water plain as day.  Stripes were very visible.  We fished water that I've never fished before because of the urging of "fresh meat".  We moved a lot until we found active fish.  Maybe you can guess who my guest was by this report.  BB

Why on earth would you start a new thread on this lake?    Makes no sense....the original thread is even right on the first page of reports.

Out From 12:15 to 3:15pm today. Gorgeous day with a light breeze. Constant Smallie action on Upper. Half-dozen smallies, and one was an absolute slob! Also landed a snake pike that made for a fun afternoon!  All catch and release.
