Being a lake on a river, its constantly changing. The pike population has fallen off, still some 30+ inch fish from old year classes but the number of smaller fish has dropped way off. Caught many 14-15 inch largies this year so that class looks good for the future. Also caught many smallie, most around 11 inches, so it looks like they will be doing good in the future. Please release most bass so the population continues to grow

If u like to canoe and catch northern pike, this is the lake for u. Cast spinnerbaits along the weedline of the bays and u will hook into a number of pike 22 to 34 inches, with some bonus largemouth. Bass size is down due to lack of C&R. if people released the bass like they do the northern, this lake would really be something.

I kept catching GARS here but, I caught a few 3 pound bass,and saw a pike about 30 inches slash at my buudys popper.The gar fish were pretty mean at times,they bit through 10 pound test like it was nothing...
