Big Muskego Lake

Water on Lake UP significantly.  But as usual with high water, pieces of bogs block Boxhorn.  A slight opening on the far right side MIGHT let a boat through, certainly a kayak.   Water covers all square rocks by the launch.  Pier NOT in yet.  Back-up  launch on NE end also blocked.  Not sure on Hunter's Nest.

Is there shore fishing here

Where did you launch? Conditions there?

Lake Open.  Took a boat ride.  Water cold.  A few other boats buzzing around.

Anyone know if the lake is open yet? 

Sunday 1/21 - fished straight out from Boxhorn 300-400 yards in the open area.  6 of us, 18 boards out, 5 northern iced, all low 20's, a few chunkier than years past.  Take a kid fishing!

Still with some open water today

Should be good by next weekend but it definitely needs a couple days of real cold after this snow. I wonder if the snow sunk what little ice was there
