First time on this lake. My wife and I were greeted with 4 shotgun blasts as soon as we launched the boat. Thought outsiders were not welcome, just some guys goose hunting. A murky lake with a fluctuation in depth that was unpredictable even with a locator. cast the shorelines with no luck. Tried a couple of different top water baits. Wife had a couple strikes with a jig and yellow twister tail. Not sure if we will give it another chance. Just a reminder, no pier. Prepare to stand in water..
