Fantastic multi species lake lots of pike and bass average size for the bass is around 15 to 17 inches and pike around 25 to 27 inches. Awesome place to take a kid fishing the average size is really good but you?ll be hard pressed to find a fish to much outside of that. Overall Great Lake

Fished Spooner May 19, 2015. Caught 30-35 bass up to 3#'s in 4-6 FOW. Some small northerns, a dozen nice perch and numerous pumpkinseeds, gills and crappies. Majority caught on Rapala Shadow, chrome color and KVD 1.5 in shad. A few caught on Bomber Square A's, crawfish and blue/yellow. Fished 6 hours, all fish released to fight another day.

Great Lake for Pike! Caught at least 40 pike Labor Day 2004 including a 22" bass. We released the bass for future generations to enjoy. Red and White Daredevils seem to be the lure of choice!
