A wonderful place to get away to. Very quiet if that's what you are after. Now for the fishing. hmm. If you are after bass a fun place to fish, however don't expect large fish and also you'll have to work for them. It's not really a walleye lake. Very, very very hard to come by. Northern pike are out there, trolling seems to work best for me. All five lakes in this Spider Chain use to be connected by channels. Not any more though. They say that from the lakes high back in 2002 or so the lake level has dropped eight feet. Again if you want a quiet place to go to this is nice and if you want fish to take home, well there are better choices.
