Finally got back to Scoot this year. fished it twice. First time I got 2 3pound and 1 4+ lb bass . My friend also got a 3# bass. We used rubber worms and power worms. Caught at least 100 between the two of us each time.

fished this lake a long time ago, probably around 1980, we talked to an old guy named Augie radtke who used to sell bait, and at that time he said he hadn't heard of anyone who had fished it for seven years. We could hardly even see the lake as we drove around it. Needless to say we camped out with about 8 guys , for a few days. I was the guide, and took guys out two at a time. we row trolled with rapalas and everyone caught at least a 4# bass every time. the guys on shore caught many large colorful bluegills which we roasted on a grill. I havent been back there since, having getting lost a few years later trying to find it again. the guys from town say that it is easy to find now because a lot of people ripped up a good trail to it, but i would venture to guess it still is a pretty good place to fish because the access is so hard.
