I think this lake has potential, but had a hard time catch enough to keep the kid happy!

I give it a 5 because of its beauty and tranquility. I used to come up to northern Wisconsin and visit family and I would fish Matthews lake. Bluegills were my specialty. And I would also just sit out in the middle of the lake for hours just taking in its beauty. I don't come up here anymore because my family has moved to a different part of Wisconsin but we try to get up here once a year. That is just not enough for me. One day I would like to move up here. Its the greatest place to go.

This lake offers great fishing for pike and bass. You also get the chance at a little muskie.
