Always seem to find decent panfish from bluegills, pumpkin seeds and rock bass to crappies and nice eating sized northerns and largemouth bass and tonight I just caught my first walleye and it was 18". Still learning the lake as we're only on our second full season of having a place up here.

This is an average lake for fishing. I lived there for 9 years and after a couple summers could go out to different areas like weed beds with sandy bottom and drop offs with weeds and catch the limit.

Just bought cabin on lake two summers ago. Crappies are hard to find but the north end by the creek floage seem to be the best spot during the dog days and north east bay. Lots of bass in the outskirts of the weeds and vegetation on the top of the water. .Ice fishing is slow but seem to always catch around 10 keepers just south of the big hole in the center. Tip-ups with large 3-4 inch shiners usually get the job done for pike in the outskirts of hole. Haven't caught a walleye yet but rumors say they are present. Lots of pan fish in the summer by landing very shallow and weeds couple boats bottom out from 2 foot boat landing so be careful if your not trolling.
