There's many different species you can catch in this lake. From Panfish to Pike there is so many different methods you can use to catch fish. This lake is pretty shallow so no big boats, maybe try a canoe, kayak or Jon boat. There's a nice dam called Lake Comus 67 on the southwest side where you can cast for bass and pike, or try the bottom for some yellow bullheads, channel cats maybe even a nice drum but your standing on boulders so be safe...if the dam isn't you thing I'd try the Arboretum's paths (which are breath taking in the fall with the trees) and cast for some bass they'll bite close to shore so don't speed up reeling and give up when your lure gets close to shore! I've ice fished this lake with some luck catching a micro yellow perch. Every time I come to this lake I at least get one bite.

Yes, very large carp in this lake. Some of the bet fights on rod n reel I've ever had have been battling huge carp here in the spring. In the summer I've caught plenty of decent sized channel cats and some bluegills of average size.

Large carp in this lake. Use extreme caution with this boat launch & be careful on the NE 1/3 end of the lake. It is only 4" deep. Very easy to get stuck with a canoe. Mucky bottom here.
