went out on 6/13/15 for two HR.from 6-8PM the water is a thick green. There was some fish jumping around as but nothing was baiting. It was a good time if you just wanted time on the water.

This was my first time on Rice Lake and we managed only to catch a few bluegill. There were larger fish jumping all around us, but they wouldn't take anything we threw at them (and we tried it all).
The lake is very clean. The boat launch is user-friendly and the parking area is also user-friendly.
We pulled our boat out of the water late in the PM and there is no light by the boat ramp. That caused some difficulty.
Overall, a pretty good lake.
