Lots of weeds and last year it was killed out or something down that road. But the fish like the weeds just fish around and inside the edge of the weeds.

Before the pier and lights, this was a great little pond to take the kids and catch big gills and monster Bass upwards of 6lbs. Know my kids wont even walk down to fish because the gills are very small, 1 lb bass would be considered big, and the ocational bycicle from the greenish/blue treated, weedless water can sometimes be pulled in upwards of 10 speeds. Now I take the dog for a walk and pick up disgarded trash and dispose of it in the garbage can there on site while squishing through goose goo.

This once jewel is now not even worth looking at anymore. before the pier was in and all the weeds killed off( love that chartreuse color of the water in summer) you could take your kids and fish the shorelines, they could catch many gills, some were 6-7 in. And big bass were big,5,6,and 7 lb. were hard to bring in through the weeds, but you always could count on them to strike. Now the kids don't even like it anymore, no bass bigger then 11 in. Gills ave. 3-4 in. Even the turtles stay away. But if you love to step in goose poop, snag discarded trash !!!, and catch whats left after some adults fished out 90 percent, this pond (maybe 3 acres) is for you.
