Lake Beulah

Fished this lake once about 25 years ago with some guys from work. I caught a 12-14 inch muskie on a little mister twister on the south end back in the channel? under a boat. Also seen some very nice bass swimming around in about 10ft of water{very clear water},couldn't get them to take anything though.All in all nice lake.

I enjoy fishing this lake. especially after 4pm when all of the recreational boaters go in.

checking out the lake for fishing jamboree this Saturday at Lindey's on Beulah, and caught 3 crappie and 2 perch that were keepers. Hope Saturday is at least this and hopefully more.

Awesome lake, good fishing, great for water sports and then calming down and going fishing I catch a lot of small and largemouth bass in the channel. The parking lot is very far away from the ramp, I go to this lake every weekend. They should have some tournaments for fishing.

One of the finest lake i ever fished for crappies.There everywere in the spring and you can easily catch your limit take the kids.

IT IS A GREAT LAKE TO CATCH BIG GILLS AND LARGE AMOUNTS OF SMALL BASS. I ALSO CATCH ALOT OF GAR THERE TOO. NEVER SEEN A PIKE THOUGH.

My first time on the lake with my son and 4 yr. old grandson. It was non stop action for bluegill. We started off about half way up to the narrows on a point in about 20 foot of water on the edge of the weed line. There were bluegill everywhere but mostly small. My son and grandson fished night crawler chunks and wax worms under bobbers I fished a drop shot rig. We only managed 1 keeper bluegill about 8 inches long from that spot. Next we moved back down to the very south west end of the lake just north of the ramp. Followed a little finger channel in that was about 20 feet deep and fished the edge of the weedline there. We ended up with 12 nice keeper bluegill all in the 7 to 9 inch range. We fished from 7:30AM to about 12:30PM. My grandson didn't want to leave but I had the long drive back to Illinois so we finally convinced him we had to go. Nothing more fun then fishing with your son and grandkids. *smile. Lake Beulah is a nice lake. Wish we could have found some bigger gills but you can't complain about the action. Fished Lauderdale the day before and struggled to get bites. Good fishing everyone.

favorite lake to fish on any one that knows the lake should go in bare foot bay for monster northern and bass

Top lake in the area, exellent beach areas to stop at. Great party on the lake 3rd saturday in august.

good hard to find fish but once you do action packed

I live on the lake so i go fishing almost everyday and the fish is great. I'f your hungry for bass go to bulk island and use a deep diver and a guareeted bass.

Boat traffic stinks..ie jet skiers, fun boat zoomers make it tough for fishin folks. They don't seem to bother the fish but their excessive wave making scares me/almost makes my boat tip..NOT FUN.. Need a Water Cop to nab the speeders... Only one place to rent boats...

I am primarily a bass fisherman but have seen some nice catches of BIG gills. Have to fish early because of heavy boat traffic even during the week. Nice catches of bass not always big but usually active.
