i was there in 2008 june and had a great camping time fishing right out of the back of the camp site caught several gills and carrpie also caught a real nice bass.the key to that lake is behind the camp grounds great place for the whole family nice little beach very quite camp grounds

Not a great fishing lake. Slow reproduction and lots of anglers keep this lake pretty fished out. You can catch a few nice eater crappies if you try hard but unless you like eating rock bass, your not gonna catch too many good to eat panfish. A few nice bass but again, very spread out.
