Great Lake- been up there every summer and most falls since'78. Usually good crappie and walleye, always abumdamt northern and bluegills. Largemouth and smallmouth populations getting much bigger in recent years. Caught a huge largemouth on a 7" Muskie spoon last year. Muskie is hit and miss, bucktails over weeds seems best, before rain or storms brings up the most and sometimes only action, if only for 15-20 minutes at a time. Muskies are very wary, will drive you nuts in that lake! Northern population keeps it interesting tho...
Cheers!

Wild Rice - also known as the dead sea....The only time to fish this lake is during about a one week window in may, you will catch crappies. Other than that, there are two bars on the lake that come up to about 3-5 feet and a defined weed edge that everybody fishes, but in my opinion, don't waste your time
