Beautiful lake. Smallmouth and Walleye fishing is good to excellent. Good size structure on the Bass. Walleyes are plentiful. You will catch many under the 18" size limit, but there are keepers to be had too. Catching Northern Pike and Panfish in the weeds is no problem. The lake has big Muskies, but they are not easy to catch. I've taken my family to this lake the last two years for 4 day trips and we have had a blast. I have not raised any Muskies yet, but the Bass and Walleye fishing has more than made up for the lack of Musky action. I have focused on fishing the many points and bars. Bass action has primarily been on Tubes and Topwater. Walleye action has primarily been on Berkley Gulp Minnows fished on a jig.

Great Walleye fishing early spring and fall. You will need to catch about 15 to get 3 keepers. I always fish at night in the shallow rocky bottom and manage to land a few Pike as well as an occasional Musky.
