Trout Lake is a large freshwater lake located in Vilas County, Wisconsin. It covers an area of approximately 3,864 acres and has a maximum depth of 117feet, making it one of the deepest lakes in the state.

Trout Lake is known for its clear, pristine waters, and is a popular destination for fishing and recreational boating. The lake is home to a variety of fish species, including walleye, northern pike, musky, and smallmouth bass.

Good smallie lake.. Watch the sudden depth changes. Will go from 12 ft. to 1 ft. in a heartbeat, without a marker buoy.Nice clean, clear lake.. Try to get out there early before the annoying skiers & wave runners do..
