From the vast water wonderland of the 14,300 acre Turtle Flambeau Flowage to the far-reaching wilderness of the 74,500 acres of public forestland, Mercer offers authentic outdoor adventures that you will remember long after you?ve returned home.
Whether you choose to explore on snowmobile, ATV, car, camper, bike, boat, skis, or by foot, you are sure to discover the unending, unique fascination of the Northwoods.
Every season offers a new way to experience our natural beauty. The quiet of winter snow is broken by the sounds of spring peepers that fade as the loon?s calls fill the lakes in the summer. Finally, the woods explode in a riot of color in autumn and then the cycle begins again. That?s the beauty of Mercer. You can?t go wrong... life is outdoors.

Stateline is a good bass lake but gets alot of pressure from the campground. Most the fish run small and I've never caught a northern over 30 in. there. Not many walleye and even less introduced muskie.

The lake has no public access. However, because of the campgrounds, large amount of cottages, and small size of the lake, it gets a lot of fishing pressure. I would give this lake a solid 3 or low 4 for bass. Walleyes are too few to call this a walleye lake, and the northern pike and panfish run small. Too much pressure! Try one of the Forest County lakes instead.
