5 stars for water quality, fish quality and general appeal. Trophy Musky, Smallmouth and walleye don't come easy but they do swim here. As a bonus it connects to Averill and Van Vliet lakes that offer a variety of water to fish:clear/rocky, dark/sandy, clean/weedy... find it all on this chain. Not much boat traffic is another bonus, glad I bought property here!

I went here with my family about 13 years ago and we were able to only get a few smallies and small perch. Rough lake to fish.

Once it gets dark that lake comes to life!!!!! great walleye and smallie fishing, but it is tuff on sunny days because it is so clear.
