Never got on the lake even though I was looking forward to trying it. The so called "public boat launch" is fit for canoes, nothing else. Have a 17 ft. boat with roller trailer and the front tires of my truck were in the lake, still couldn't get boat off. It's still 6" deep 30 ft. from shore plus the gravel is pitched so your boat is 6" lower on 1 side than the other. Pulled back out and went elsewhere. Worst excuse for a launch I've ever seen.

Lake seems to be sick. I think there is an oxygen problem. I saw a lot of dead fish and my minnows would die after a very short time in the water.

This lake is one of the most under rated lakes in Wisconsin. Huge musky and bass are present, you just have to find them. Last time I was out caught 4 bass that were all 4 pounds and a bunch of 2 pounders. My grandpa who I fish with brought a 48 inch musky put of it. Also a 10 lb walleye. Panfish are easy to find. Sleeper crappie lake! Very big population of snake northern pike. Just a very fun lake to fish overall. Don't forget about the creek fishing either, just as good as the lake!
