On 8/28/17 I talked with Steve Gilbert, DNR-Fisheries Biologist for Vilas Co. to ask about oxygen conditions and whether there are any bass in Mann Lake. He said the last winter kill was in 2014 and the lake association had a aerator installed in the fall of 2016. There are some northern pike and yellow perch available but there haven't been bass in Mann Lake in ages.

Great Northern Lake, never crowded, and not to far out of the way. Plenty of decent fish; easy to catch as well. I have not fished this lake in two years; I heard it had a hard winter kill but do not know for certain. Easy launch.
