Spent last weekend at Fish Trap Resort. A very nice quiet resort, cabin were very nice, dock for each cabin, and a landing right at the resort. Fished every day and caught fish every day. I was mostly bass fishing and my largest was 18+ 3.10lbs. Had a large musky found my bass baits to the boat. Did some pan fishing keeped enough for a meal. Caught 6 crappies 8 inches started to late that evening or probably could have caught more.

GRREAT MUSKY ACTION HERE IN THE WINTER!

The good reviews are old or business owners! I fished here awhile ago and alot more recently until I found out the truth. NO GOOD FISH and I dont mean theyre just small I mean none(eyes, bass, musky, pike, not even legal panfish). Im steamed because good people visiting get lied and suckered into going to this lake by resort owners (especially eagles post which is falling apart) and people afraid to tell it like it is. This lake is GARBAGE. It used to be decent, but a nasty INVASIVE WEED SPECIES has taken this lake over. Thick matts of weed are floating everywhere and all over the bottom, even in high lake! But even worse they allowed TONS of musky spearfishing. All the musky/pike are gone! I didnt even get bass action. I cant imagine coming here from far away like some poor folks. Thats why I took the time to write this- Find another lake! ( oh and i tried all live bait, lures (all kinds), trolling, fished prime times, etc)
