Have been fishing this lake for a number of years. Have caught crappies up to 13". Bass are getting bigger each year. Musky are elusive but there is potential for big girls in both lakes. Wish the walleye were more cooperative, seams the population of eyes is declining due to the surge in bass population. If you want to share any secrets on walleye locations in this lake PM me I would be interested in knowing.

Fished Upper Lake the first week of September. First time on lake found some fish but a cold front had just blown through. Was able to get a few rock bass, a couple of small northern and a muskie 34" by accident on the way into the boat ramp. Too many other lakes in the area probably wouldn't return any time soon.

The upper of the two buckatabons is overall better fishing this is where the walleyes and a lot of the bigger musky are. I have seen musky up to 48 inches in this lake. There isn't a lot of action but there are some big fish. The bass fishing is a lot of fun. I have also taken some northern over 30 inches out of here.
