This a fun ?Numbers? lake for me. I take my pals here who do not have a lot of ?Fishing experience? and show them the ropes of Yak fishing. When I say ?Numbers Lake? I mean a lot of action with nothing breaking that oh so sweet 18?+ Although the bigger Bass in here seem to be more on the slender size. Throw Wackys, Ploppers, and Frogs on Pads where you can find them. Also, I caught at least 3 8-10? Bluegill on wacky rigs if you can believe that. It?s a fun lake but it will not contain your PB largie in Vilas County

I have camped there every year for the last 10 or so. The small mouth bass and bluegill are great. There are Zero pike in this lake...none...not sure who lists this lake as having them.
