Was an awesome little lake for largemouth and pan fish, but unfortunately there was a total fish kill off in 2014. Largemouth and hybrid bluegill fingerlings were added in the summer of 2014. There are signs posted around the lake asking people to practice catch and release. Hopefully we can get this lake back to its former glory!

Very nice little local lake, almost guaranteed to catch something. Great catch and release lake. Negatives, boat launch fee, and no gas motors on Sundays.

This lake is a very great lake for good consistant bass action for 13-18 inchers. I have yet to tangle with smallmouth but hear they are in there but have caught several largemouths during each trip I go there. It is a very easy lake to figure out and fish, and can be quiet and peaceful when the pleasure boaters are'nt making thier rounds like a bunch of weirdos who should find a bigger lake to tear up with their speed boats. I also had a pike that was about 35 inches long grab onto the back of a 14 inch largemouth bass I was reeling in and he decided to hang on until the bass was mutilated. I hear there are some big pike in this lake a 35 incher is a beautiful sized pike. I love this lake and only fished it three times so far.
