To say it's the "dead sea' only implies you're doing something wrong. Fairly good lake all around. Bass on the weed bed edges, dead-sticking works well. Northern tend to hang in the deeps & take crank baits. I too have had slow days, but have yet to hit this lake and NOT bring fish into the boat.

I had an amazing time on this lake catching largemouth,northerns,and panfish.I caught a total of over 30 largemouths in a 4 hour period,2 northerns,and some slab crappies that hit my floating Rapala.Bass Assassins weedless hooked and jerked over weeds acounted for alot of bass.Also,carolina rigged ZOOM Centipede worms that look like a french fry worked well.I have to try this lake through the ice because I saw large numbers of panfish and some nice ones to...SMALL AND EASY LAKE TO FISH...
