I see from time to time people ask about this lake. There is a reason everyone drives by and you never see anyone on it. The water depth is mostly three to five feet with two "holes" on either side of the peninsula/island depending on the water table that go about eight feet. I have tried the ice five times in the last three years with my kids because it is close to home. We catch a lot of footballs and Sundrops on this lake because there is nothing else to catch.

Just not a very good lake. Yes it does have some fish, but nothing to get excited about. There is a reason so many people drive right by. There is better lakes elsewhere.
