Grindstone Lake is a freshwater lake located in Sawyer County. The lake has a surface area of approximately 3,176 acres and a maximum depth of around 60 feet. It is located in the heart of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, surrounded by a mix of pine, hardwoods, and wetlands.

Grindstone Lake is a popular recreational destination, attracting visitors for fishing, boating, kayaking, swimming, and hiking. The lake has a diverse fish population, including walleye, northern pike, muskellunge, bass, and panfish. Ice fishing is also popular in the winter months.

.SMALLMOUTH. on rock piles. use shaky head jig, drop shot or wacky rig. best time (all day) .WALLEYE. 6-8ft of water in the weeds on the sand bars and drop offs. yellow perch pattern works best. shad rap or spinners works best. best times 7:00pm-10:00pm or 4:00am-6:00am

brother and i went up for day of muskie fishing for the day on satarday trolled up 5 all about 35 in. lost 2 landed 3 have no pitures thx to me leaveing my sister camera on the side of the boat at eh ramp slid out somewere onto the road (
