If you want to go to a lake that you are straight going to catch numbers, this is your lake. I have caught some big bass and some huge bluegill here, but on average, most bass are small. If you catch the bluegill at the right time, you can come home with a serious haul for dinner.

I give this lake a 4. It gets a four for the simple fact. Quality and Quantity. This lake has: Large Mouth, Northern, Crappie, Bluegill,and Perch. The fish are all great size and there are plenty of them. The lake has good structure and also has many depths to it.(Over 20 feet deep near dam). It looked great considering all the flooding we have had lately. The weeds can pose a problem late summer, but also can hold some lunker bass and northerns over 30 inches.(they do dredge time to time. The best part is the no wake rule. It keeps the lake quiet and the nature is everywhere. I have seen osprey fishing here and my favorite, the little green Herons. Apparently I'm not the only one who likes to fish here! Overall this lake is one of a kind around these parts and I hope they will make sure it stays that way.
