I have fished this lake about 5 times in the past 2 years during summertime, the water level is about 15 feet below where it is suppose to be, when I started fishing this lake 15 to 20 years ago it was just awesome, Then they got the great idea to plant pike in here and they practically ate them selves out of food and a lot of them died off themselves, Now the fishing is starting to get good again, this lake was over 50 ft deep years ago.nice little largemouth here,and some nice gills and perch.

This lake has some super great action in the summer time. Topwater works great, and flies work even better. Figure out what everyone else is using and try something different. This, as are most lakes in the area, is a tough lake to fish. The water is clear and the fish are well fed. Weather has little effect on well fed fish. If you can get a hold of some crayfish tails, take the white meat out and put just a tad on your hook. Then don't set your pole down. If a panfish sees it, it WILL bite. If your name is Shawn, you will not catch anything except a cold.
