Striped bass would freeze out in Wisconsin definitely a southern species. Though Columbia Lake  in Columbia co. Use to anyway have strippers the power plant  uses the lake for cooling and it would be open year round. Not sure where they came from but they did have some stocked but that was 20years ago I fished it.

The hybrids you are talking about are a hybrid between a white bass and a striped bass often called a wipper as a combination of white (bass) and striper. Also to answer your question no there is no hybrid striped bass in lake dubay however there is a growing population of white bass. There really aren't many places with whippers in Wisconsin until you get way south in the state let alone purebred stripers.
Hope this helps

Hi guys as an avid white bass angler I’m curious does this lake have hybrid white bass also known as striped bass. They grow much larger. I’m looking to up my skills to the next level to the next big fight. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
