Coon Lake is a great little lake to fish in the winter it produces nice size Gills and Crappies, if you set up tip-ups you can usually catch some nice northerns. this is a lake that you can fish any time of the day or night and catch fish, it is not un-common to catch your limit on pan fish within a couple of hours, fishing the areas of 13-16 feet of water seems to work the best for me. I believe this lake is under rated and you should try this lake in the winter you will be surprised. good luck and stay safe
