I've actually fished blom lake in the winter and caught norhterns! I wouldn't say there was anything of any size, but actually catching something on this lake is amazing in itelf. This site states there are bluegills and bass in there as well but I have not seen them. I think I saw a rock bass once and there are always plenty of minnows swimming around. Don't waste your time fishing here as there are plenty of lakes around with better fishing (like all of them). This lake just has some sentimental value for me growing up so it was special for me to go out and catch a fish.
