Eagle River, WI
Hands down the best lake I've ever fished!!! Totally private & you need to know the right people to get on it. Every fish on could be a potential trophy whether it's a bluegill, crappie, largemouth bass or northern pike. Fallen timber is a gimme for 'gills & bass. Cabbage on the north side is where the big crappies hang out & the whole lake has potential for landing pike up to 20 lbs. No motors allowed on the lake. Truly a beautiful lake to fish. Quintessential northwoods lake with beaver lodges on one end of the lake & eagles flying overhead. Just an absolute perfect lake to fish!!! Oh yeah, try a Mepps Giant Killer in black & orange for pike & a #6 hook w/ a small split shot & a whole night crawler hooked thru the nose for everything else. Easy lake to figure out.
