General Lake Restrictions


  • Bag limits are for fish caught in all lakes in the MOEN CHAIN including FIFTH LAKE, FOURTH LAKE, SECOND LAKE, THIRD LAKE

Fishing Bag Limits


  • CATFISH
    Open All Year
    No minimum length limit and the daily bag limit is 10.
  • LARGEMOUTH BASS
    May 5, 2018 to June 15, 2018
    The minimum length limit is 14" and the daily bag limit is 5.
  • LARGEMOUTH BASS AND SMALLMOUTH BASS
    June 16, 2018 to March 3, 2019
    The minimum length limit is 14" and the daily bag limit is 5.
  • MUSKELLUNGE AND HYBRIDS
    May 26, 2018 to November 30, 2018
    The minimum length limit is 40" and the daily bag limit is 1.
  • NORTHERN PIKE
    May 5, 2018 to March 3, 2019
    No minimum length limit and the daily bag limit is 5.
  • PANFISH (BLUEGILL, PUMPKINSEED, SUNFISH, CRAPPIE AND YELLOW PERCH)
    Open All Year
    No minimum length limit and the daily bag limit is 25, 25 panfish may be kept, but only 10 of any one species..
  • SMALLMOUTH BASS
    May 5, 2018 to June 15, 2018
    Fish may not be harvested (catch and release only)
  • TROUT

  • WALLEYE, SAUGER, AND HYBRIDS
    May 5, 2018 to March 3, 2019
    The minimum length is 15", but walleye, sauger, and hybrids from 20" to 24" may not be kept, and only 1 fish over 24" is allowed. The daily bag limit is 3.
