Good pan fish lake, with lots of weed beds. There are a lot of smaller 10' - 12" LM Bass in this lake. Anything over 14" - 15" are hard to find. Leeches work well off Beer Can Island in the deeper water.

Out the Minocqua Chain, I'd say this is by far the best musky lake I've ever fished. Caught four of them in one day, one was 40" inches. Saw more than 30 in three days. One looked like it would give "Ol' Chin Whisker Charlie" a run for his money.
CHIN WHISKER CHARLIE was Louie Spray's 69 lb 11 oz World Record.

Very diverse lake with excellent panfish opportunities. I vacation in Minocqua and this is the lake we stay at. Bass are tricky at first but once you find how to catch them it's great. If you're going after that muskie, plan on spending a lot of time on the water. I suggest going out on an overcast day towards evening and throwing a Mepps 5 spinner over some submerged weed beds of either coontain or cabbage. Trust me, I missed a nice one last summer doing this. Try finding submerged weedbeds from 10-15 ft. in depth and fish those at night for walleyes.
